Samadhi – compare to the happiness of the world, what is comfort? Dealing with problems in the present, problems arise in our heart, avoiding running away, rationalisation vs. true intentions – avijja hides our true intentions – intensive practise reveals them. Forgetting our only true refuge, apanna and upacara samadhi, the 5 precepts – training wholesomeness – avoiding hell, not judging others, kamma, freedom of the precepts, fleeting nature of all things, building the self-view, we can't change the world, influence of the kilesas, observing the animals, the deception of the hair and skin, the power of sensual desire, asubha practise – getting rid of greed and hate, going against our habits, mindfulness of the body, constant effort in practise.
